About the Role:
As an Automotive Outdoor Equipment Sales Representative, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers both in-store and online. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing exceptional customer service, building rapport, and understanding customer needs to recommend appropriate products.
Demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of our product range, including specifications, features, and benefits.
Assisting customers with product selection, answering technical questions, and offering expert advice based on their outdoor activities and vehicle type.
Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom, ensuring product displays are well-stocked and attractively presented.
Actively participating in marketing initiatives, including social media engagement and promotional events.
Contributing to inventory management, reporting stock levels, and assisting with receiving and stocking new products.
Staying current with industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings.
Proactively seeking opportunities to expand sales and increase customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Potentially assisting with product installation or demonstrations (training will be provided).
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or outdoor recreation industry.
A genuine passion for the outdoors and a strong understanding of various outdoor activities, such as camping, overlanding, hiking, and off-road driving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant software.
A valid driver's license and a comfortable driving record.
Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus (knowledge of vehicle modifications and accessories is beneficial).
Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects.
A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
