Initially, I assumed they were friendly and posed no threat. However, as I drew closer, I realized with growing unease that the dogs were not under proper control.

As I cautiously passed the skiers, one of the dogs lunged towards me, its sharp teeth bared. I instinctively swerved to avoid being bitten, but the dog's aggression was far from over. It continued to bark incessantly and snap at my skis, forcing me to retreat. The skiers, oblivious to the danger, skated away without acknowledging my predicament.

Enraged and shaken, I confronted the skiers about their irresponsible behavior. I pointed out that their dogs were not on leashes and were endangering other skiers on the trail. To my astonishment, they responded with hostility and denial. They claimed that their dogs were harmless and that I was overreacting.

They reluctantly put their dogs on leashes and continued their skiing, but not before casting angry glances in my direction.
