Objective:

Procedure:

1. Introduction (5 minutes)


- Begin by gathering students and explaining the purpose of the activity.

2. Equipment Fitting (10 minutes)


- Help students put on their ski equipment and adjust it for a comfortable fit.
- Ensure that boots are snug but not too tight and that skis are the appropriate length.

3. Basic Movements (15 minutes)


- Start by practicing the following basic movements:
- Gliding on skis: Have students stand on flat ground and glide forward and backward.
- Side-stepping: Teach students how to side-step uphill by taking small steps side-to-side.
- Snowplow: Demonstrate the snowplow position by having students spread their skis into a V-shape and lean forward.
